Love this shop and the product. We order it all the way from Virginia. It’s great to have the thing my husband always asks for, which is “meat snacks” and to know that it’s natural ingredients and a small business.

My new favorite place for snacks and jerkey. If you like chocolate ( I don't, but OMG I'm a convert ) you have to try their Peppermint Crisp. I gave my family small stockings filled with the candy bars and they all wanted more. Amazing! The owner, Mike and his wife are two of the nicest shop owners I have ever met. Give it at try. Highly recommend.

Quite simply the best! We’ve used Biltong on salads, as part of a charcuterie, on a sandwich, for game day, camping, and just to snack on around the house! Our 3yr old is a particularly picky eater and he absolutely loves it. And it’s good for him! Love this shop and will be coming back for years to come.

I totally love Yebo Biltong! The Authentic Biltong, dry wors and boerewors are all amazing. In fact, I pretty much eat the Authentic biltong daily 🎉 I can’t recommend this enough, brings back a taste of home!

I got the Droëwors and Biltong to share with friends, let me tell you the Droëwors didn’t make it 😊. The quality of the meat is amazing and both Droëwors and Biltong are made with excellent spices that makes them an ideal snack for everyone. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a healthy protein snack or just something to add to a charcuterie board (they pair very well with both reds and whites).

We’ve been living in the US for 10 years now and something the entire family has always missed from back home in South Africa is biltong. We are over the moon that we can now get authentic biltong and droewors from Yebo Biltong. This healthy protein snack is perfect for people who do CrossFit, triathlons, marathons, trail running, hiking, biking, and anything active. But we love it so much that no matter how much we buy, it’s consumed long before we can use it for any of those purposes. A great, guilt-free choice when you need something ‘lekker’ to snack on. Do yourself a favor and make sure you try some. You will not regret it.

How have I not had biltong in my life until now? I was recently introduced to this South African treat and was able to locate this great shop run by a wonderful family! Not to get too long-winded but… I know a product is amazing when my 2 sons devour something like a pack of WILD animals. It’s one of those addictive foods that’s hard to stop eating. Yes, it’s that delicious! Equally delicious is the cured sausage! Lastly, these treats are actually pretty healthy. How is that possible? Lol. I’m happy these folks are in town!

Amazing Biltong (in the United States!) As you may know, the USDA does not allow the import of many types of cured meats into the country, so unfortunately if you’re a fan of biltong you have to fly to South Africa to indulge. Imagine my surprise when I found this little shop making their own USDA approved biltong in SoCal! Their recipe is delicious and every bite is incredibly tender and juicy. Beef jerky is tough, dry, and salty—leave that junk at the gas station. Try biltong, you won’t go back!

Go visit and enjoy some of the snack and dried meats from 🇿🇦 I’m so glad this store opened, the biltong and droëwors are amazing and every bite just reminds me of South Africa, I was excited for the boerewors, as it’s just spiced very well and taste so good, definitely a staple food in a South African house hold, ever braai (bbq) there will be some boerewors, they also carry some of my favorite candies and snacks! The owner Michael, is a very friendly and great guy, everytime I go in we have good conversations, and it’s just nice to walk in a store in Escondido, and being able to talk in Afrikaans.
